Olivia Wise is a passionate educator and community advocate with deep roots in Jersey City, NJ. A proud graduate of Dickinson High School, she earned her Bachelor’s degree in English and History from New Jersey City University and holds two Master’s degrees from the University of Phoenix: one in Secondary Education and History and the other in Curriculum and Instruction. Olivia is a life member of the Pi Lambda Theta Honor Society and has been recognized on the Dean’s List for her academic achievements

Olivia  is committed to fostering academic excellence and inspiring the next generation of leaders. Her dedication to education aligns seamlessly with the mission of Exceeding Benchmarks Together, as she brings her expertise in curriculum development, mentorship, and community engagement to the board.Olivia’s community impact began in December 2021 with the Share-A-Ton Drive, an initiative she founded to support men, women, and children in need by collecting and distributing essential items like clothing, shoes, toys, and food. This annual drive continues to grow, with successful campaigns as recently as April 2024. In addition to her own initiatives, Olivia actively participates in charitable events, including walks for St. Jude, Breast Cancer awareness, March of Dimes, and Thanksgiving givebacks. She also serves as a mentor with B.L.E.S.C. (Black Law Enforcement Servicing the Community), guiding youth in her hometown.Inspired by her late mentor, Clarence “Coach C” Collins, Olivia is dedicated to uplifting her community through education and service.

 

When she’s not making an impact in her professional or volunteer roles, Olivia enjoys baking, playing basketball, singing, dancing, and spending quality time with her two sons, Aiden and Declan Josiah.As a Board Member of Exceeding Benchmarks Together, Olivia leverages her experience and passion for education to help drive meaningful change, ensuring every child has access to opportunities that enable them to succeed.
